The main functions and responsibility of the Establishment Section of the municipality is for processing cases relating to i) Fixation of Pay ii) Issue of Periodical Increment Certificates. iii) Deputation, resignation & retention/termination of lien etc. of employees.
The General or Establishment department of the Memari municipality keeps and maintains the record of the employees like service books and pension-related statistics etc. It also keeps the records of widow pension, APL & BPL-related records of the municipal area. The department maintains liaison with government & non-government organizations and performs the secretarial function of BOC and CIC and other official meetings.
